After the huge success of the Pulsar Accolade XP50 PRO LRF the Pulsar Merger LRF XP50 Thermal Binoculars were born. Featuring a 640×480 sub 25mK 17um thermal sensor and new larger display system and fast aperture F50 1.0 Germanium thermal lens there is massive improvement when comparing to the predecessor allowing more information to be received by the thermal sensor ultimately painting a better picture of the scene you are looking at. The new <25mk NETD sensor is highly sensitive and gives superb performance in low contrast environments which include rain and fog giving the ability to distinguish between the environment and the heat source easily to give an overall better ability to identify your target.
With an ultra-long 1800m detection distance the Pulsar Merger LRF XP50 has to be paired with an equally powerful laser rangefinder which is thankful does. The Pulsar Merger LRF comes with 1km capabilities meaning even the furthest targets can be ranged accurately. The latest image processing algorithms play a vital role in the improvement of performance of the Pulsar Accolade XP50 LRF taking into account different weather conditions and device operation scenarios giving a noise free image with increased object details and improved contrast.
The new Pulsar Merger LRF XP50 640×480 Thermal Binoculars have moved from a Bi-ocular thermal system to a traditional classic compact binocular design. Giving a full transferrable feel to your standard day optic binoculars taking into account the nature of human vision and allowing the eyes to adjust to receiving visual information through two channels simultaneously.
The upgrade to the traditional binocular chassis gives a less tiring viewing experience over a monocular and it allows for better detection of small or faint objects as well as an overall performance improvement in low contrast situations when compared to a similar thermal monocular with the same specifications. The interpupillary distance in the Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 56 to 71 mm in accordance with the individual characteristics of a particular user.
They fit comfortably in the hand and are aesthetically pleasing to look at with six function buttons that placed in the comfort areas for easy access to the most used digital device functions within a single touch.
The Pulsar Merger LRF XP50 is powered by two independent rechargeable battery power sources giving up to 10 hours of continuous use. The built-in system has a capacity of 4ah and the second is a replaceable battery with the capacity of 3.2 AH.
